What will you learn?
Similar to BJJ in its focus on grappling, the art of ‘no gi’ has some significant differences which centre around the lack of the traditional uniform, ‘the gi’. Without this to grab hold of to submit your opponent, it is harder to control them. No gi focuses more on offensive grapples and takedowns, wrestling-based techniques and control positions. It is also typically faster-paced then traditional BJJ.
Who’s it for?
Ages 14+ of all skill levels, but more suited to those who have trained with a gi before and already understand the fundamentals of BJJ.
What kit / equipment do you need?
MMA shorts, rash guard and mouth guard.
