Lone’er Kavanagh is the poster boy of a lifelong martial artist. Competing since the age of 10 and dedicating his life to combat sports, Lone’er has blazed a trail through MMA since he turning pro in 2019.
Kavanagh is a well rounded fighter with lighting in both his hands, earning the title of lb for lb heaviest hitter in the gym.
With stand out victories over Ryan Morgan and Davide Scarano, it was only a matter of time before the UFC started taking notice. Lone’er was invited to take part in 2024’s season of Dana White’s Contender Series and was matched against fellow unbeaten prospect An Tuan Ho.
This was easily Kavanaghs toughest test but on August 14th 2024, he put the world on notice with a spectacular knock out victory in the first round that made Dana White utter an immortal “Holy Shit!”
With a win in such jaw dropping manner, there was no way they could deny giving Lon anything but a UFC contract!
