GB Top Team is proud to announce the launch of its first ladies only class

GBTT has one of the largest and most successful teams of female fighters in Europe – ranging from global pro MMA fighters to a hugely successful amateur team, recently winning the gold medal for the UK at the IMMAF World championships (well done Lisa Zimmo!) all the way to women training just for fun and fitness.

Having such a great team at our disposal, we felt that it was important that we share some of that expertise with our membership!

Ladies Only Self-Defense Classes

Women’s Kickboxing Classes South London

While many women train in all our classes, this class is specifically designed to prioritize training techniques that are most effective for women and in an environment focused on those needs. All our coaches for this class are female and have specialisms including MMA, BJJ, Kickboxing, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. You don’t need to know what any of these are to enjoy the class though!

The class will focus around Kickboxing and self-defense, but will also work on improving cardio-vascular fitness and body strength. No experience is necessary at all and is suitable for those who just want to build confidence, happiness and self-reliance. The classes will focus on each person as an individual and will build on your personal goals in a fun and relaxed environment.

Our classes


Mixed Martial Arts combine techniques, skills and disciplines from BJJ, boxing, muay thai, striking and wrestling.


Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that focusses on grappling and ground fighting, allowing someone to defend themselves against a bigger/stronger opponent. Overcome opponents by improving your grappling and ground fighting techniques. Classes are available for all levels, in both gi and no gi BJJ.



Learn and develop clinching and grappling techniques to improve your groundwork.



Incorporate boxing, muay thai and kickboxing techniques to learn self-defence and MMA striking skills.

Lift & Learn

Improve your cardiovascular fitness in our high intensity interval training (HIIT) classes. Suitable for all levels.


Develop your boxing technique, movement and skill, working through combinations based on your experience.


Kids Classes

Our kids classes are taught in age groups and cover the core disciplines of mixed martial arts.


Put your learning into practice in our sparring sessions. Participants will be paired up based on experience.
