This weekend saw GBTT open its 2024 account with 2 athletes stepping into the fenced colosseum on different sides of the world, both coming away with well earned victories!

Tayo “XL” Odunjo (6-3) took a trip over to Slovakia to headline Fabriq MMA 4 against Marek Bartl (11-13) along with coaches Ashleigh Grimshaw and Danielsam.

Tayo put on a complete mixed martial arts display with excellent grappling and crisp striking which earned Odunjo unanimous decision and adding momentum to his win against Selim Topuz at Oktagon 46 back in September. All we know is the future and 2024 is only going to get better!

Next stop was Abu Dhabi where undefeated featherweight Eman Almudhaf (4-0), with Kate Bacik once again looking after cornering duties,  took on Hager Rajab Hammad for UAE Warriors 47: Arabia 13.

Eman made short work of her opponent, completely dominating every aspect of the fight, securing a TKO just 1 minute into the fight. This is now Almudhaf’s 4th straight win since turning pro with the promotion and with a 100% finish rate. The only direction is up!
