Cage Warriors recently celebrated 20 years in the business of breaking faces and now its time to break into new places.
In just over 24 hours Rome will be welcoming the promotion for the very first time for Cage Warriors 144, which sold out in under 24 hours! A new country but the same Cage Warriors standard of showcasing local talent from across Italy while delivering a top tier card for everyone to enjoy.
First, we have Micol di Segni (9-4) taking on Bryony Tyrell (4-4-1) in the Strawweight division. Micol is a massive name across Europe and this is a huge event for her. Not only is it her first time back with Cage Warriors since 2018, but it’s also a major event in front of her countrymen and women in Italy. We can not wait to see the evolution of Micol di Segni in the cage!
Headlining Cage Warriors 144 is reigning, defending (yes I read those two words in a Bruce Buffer voice in my head too!) Bantamweight Champion Dom ‘Black Panther’ Wooding (9-4) is taking on Rome’s own Michele “The Italian Thunder” Martignoni (7-1) Both men are weighed in and raring to go if Dom’s Instagram is anything to go by. A tense standoff was met with Michele attempting to give Black Panther a box wrapped in a bow (What’s in the box? WHATS IN THE BOOOAAAX????) , however, the present was not appreciated by the champ who replied ” I have a present for you tomorrow night!” Safe to say Cage Warriors 144 is going to end with fireworks.
