UFC 286 comes back to London on March 18th for their first PPV event since 2016. While matchups are still being made, it was extremely exciting that Nathaniel “The Prospect” Wood (19-5) was confirmed in an all English Matchup against Northern powerhouse Lerone Murphy (11-0-1)
Murphy has not featured in the UFC since October of 2021, when he KO’d Makwan Amirkhani and remains undefeated in his pro career.
Wood has remained busy, meanwhile, fighting twice in 2022 and winning both bouts. From Mordon, England, Wood picked up his first win of the year over Charles Rosa at UFC London in July, then made the short trip to Paris to face Charles Jourdain, both matchups “The Prospect” put on a striking clinic and is hoping to start the year off in the best way possible being the true hometown hero at the O2.
It seems a scrap and a post fight beer might be in order after Nathaniel showed an apparent exchange with his fellow countrymen.
