GBTT Light Heavyweight “smooth” Simeon Powell Extended his unbeaten Pro record to 9-0 at last nights PFL Europe 3 in Paris France.

After a late minute replacement, Powell out pointed ADCC grappler Daniel Ladero (3-3-0) to pick up the victory and advance to the finals on December 8th in Dublin, Ireland against Jakob Nedoh (7-1-0).

This was a measured and calculated performance against a very skilful grappler in Ladero.  Simeon never looked in trouble and was effective in the first round with punishing calf kicks and distance management to nullify any threat of Daniels level changes.

Simeon showed bursts of crisp striking that the Spaniard simply had no answer for and by the end of the third round, his bloodied face bared the damage of the Brit’s superior striking.

After victory, Powell faced off with finals opponent Jakob Nedoh after the Slovenian beat Anthony Salamone in the other semi-final.

The finals take place at the 3Arena in Dublin on 8 December, with the winner securing a $100,000 (£82,000) prize.
